The property was well-lit, and the triple room featured a larger-than-average fridge, which was a welcome convenience. I appreciated the water dispenser that allowed guests to refill their bottles. However, I found it unusual that the room had a kettle and cups but no coffee provided. While I could have requested coffee from the staff, this wasn’t a major issue since the breakfast buffet served excellent coffee. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and although the breakfast selection was modest, the quality of the food was commendable—particularly the daing na bangus. It would have been a nice touch to include Vigan longganisa on the menu, given the location. What truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding service. I’ve stayed at five-star hotels, but the level of training and attention to detail exhibited by the staff here was remarkable. They remembered my name and room number, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were consistently polite, well-mannered, and attentive. Special thanks to Spens, Scott, and Sean for making my stay memorable. When Sean noticed I had a lot of luggage, he kindly arranged for Scott to assist me and even provided a complimentary ride to the Partas bus terminal. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vigan!

Other reviews I read before booking mentioned the very helpful, friendly and able staff and the cleanliness: they were correct - I stayed several days and received great service throughout. I arrived at 5:30 am and true to their word someone is around 24/7 at the front desk. The location is really good - it is very close to Calle Crisologo. Tricycles and kalesis drive by regularly and the hotel staff will help you get one. Rooms are good sized - and there are several good places to eat within walking distance - the food at the hotel cantina is simple yet authentic, and good value. The included wifi is pretty good except during hard rain (I was working part of the time.) This is a family-owned operation with a happy staff, all hard-working - there are a lot of personal touches to the decor of the hotel - they are constantly improving the environs - if I go back to Vigan there is no reason I would look for another place - this was just lovely.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff helped us carry our things to our room. They were incredibly friendly and truly added to the positive atmosphere. The staff's local knowledge was invaluable! They not only recommended where to find the best Empanadas in Vigan, but also suggested renting a kalesa for a charming city tour. It was clear they wanted to ensure we had a fantastic experience in Vigan. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary toiletries provided.  This combination of friendly service, clean accommodations, and insider tips made our stay truly memorable. Plus, the location couldn't be beat! Just a short walk from the lively plaza and a block away from Calle Crisologo, the heart of Vigan's historic district. We could easily explore the sights on foot and soak up the unique atmosphere of the town. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vigan!

The location of the hotel is accessible and few meters away to "Calle Crisologo"and most of the restaurants. Cantina mercante the hotel restaurant served delicious breakfast , the salad dressing is superb, too bad theyre not selling it commercially. Staff is polite, attentive. Kudos to Ms. Sylvia the hotel manager, if you have raised the concern they will do their best to accomodate. Super affordable considering the service, breakfast and the room which is comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
